On July 26, 2020, we dedicated the new Trinity banners that adorn the sanctuary.  The banner behind the lectern depicts a classic representation of the Holy Trinity – the dove, representing the Holy Spirit, layered over the the three interconnected rings, representing the Holy Trinity.  The banner behind the pulpit depicts the center cross surrounded by four smaller crosses.  Various symbolism has been attached to the Jerusalem cross including Christ and the four apostles, the five wounds of Christ, and Christ and the four quarters of the earth.  It is our prayer that these banners may edify the faithful in their piety and help teach the faith to generations to come.  The banners were made by a friend of Faith Lutheran Church, Paige Hodges.  We glorify God and thank Him for Paige’s time and  talent in creating the banners.  Soli Deo Gloria!
