Daniel (Belteshazzar) and his faithful companions Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael (Meshach), and Azariah (Abednego) are wonderful examples of faithful service in the kingdoms of the world while still remaining faithful to God’s Word. As God’s people, we are to take great comfort that God is at work even amongst those who do not believe in Him to bring about His good and gracious will for the Church. God grant that we learn from and imitate Daniel and his companions’ faithfulness both the the Word of God and the unbelieving authorities whom they served. (03/27/2026)
